AREAS OF WRINKLE REDUCTION

Forehead

Facial aging is most noticeable on the upper third of the face including the forehead and the eyes. Aging is the major factor contributing to the wrinkles appearing, but sun damage, genetics, poor diet and smoking play a big role into the skin changes and the forehead wrinkles appearance.

Most commonly Forehead Wrinkle reduction is done by injecting Botox that paralyzes the facial muscles that produce wrinkles and fine lines.

The final effect last a couple of months and the patients need repeated injections to sustain the desirable effect.

Crow’s Feet

Crow’s feet are wrinkles and lines that appear around the eyes. The leading cause of Crow’s feet is UV exposure and the loss of collagen and elasticity that comes with aging.

Botox or Botulinum toxin is the most commonly used wrinkle reducer to smooth Crow’s feet, straightening out the wrinkles that are caused by repetitive muscle contractions.

The final effect lasts about 3 months.

Galabella (frown lines)

Galabella Frown lines are as well known as “11’s” galabella lines. These are the two vertical lines that appear in between your eyebrows  just above the nose. They are mostly visible when frowning and the more pronounced and deeper they are the more comprehensive the treatment must be. The lines are most commonly treated with Botox (type A-hemagglutinin complex), which can last between 3 and 6 months.

Eyebrow lift

An Eyebrow lift is a procedure that treats the lines between your brows and/or elevates the height of your eyebrows while opening up the eyes. The most common treatment is Botox (Votulinum toxin type A) where two small injections are made around the eyebrows, causing those muscles to pull down and your brows to relax. This gives the effect of smoothing out the deep wrinkles without surgery.

The final result lasts between 3 to 6 months.

Smokers Lines

Smoker lines or wrinkles are vertical lines that appear from the upper lips to the nose. With the process of aging these lines become deep upper lip wrinkles.

Hyaluronic acid is the most common choice for reducing the visibility of the smoker’s lines. With this Wrinkle Reducer the skin quality improves and the hyaluronic acid stimulates the formation of collagen fibers which gives this treatment great success.

Marionette Lines

Marionette lines extend from the corners of the mouth towards the chin and are the result of a loss in facial volume due to aging. Some people may be genetically predisposed to have these lines in the corners of their mouth.

Younger individuals with soft lines are ideal candidates for this treatment, as the older individuals can develop very deep Marionette lines which cannot be completely erased. The treatment includes the injection of hyaluronic acid-based filler and is short in duration and almost painless.

The results lasts up to 12 months.
