BURSITIS
Bursitis is a painful condition affecting the joints. Bursae are small fluid-filled sacs near the joints that serve as cushions between the muscles, tendons and bones. There are more than 150 bursae sacs in the human body and when one of more gets inflamed, the condition is called bursitis.
Bursitis is a very common condition and many people treat it at home without seeing a doctor. The inflammation is usually found near joints and commonly appears in the bursae of the shoulders, hips and elbows. Sometimes it is possible to develop bursitis in the heels, knees or the base of the big toe.
CAUSES
Most of the bursitis cases are caused by repetitive motion or wrong positioning and pressure on the joints. Some jobs that require repetitive motions or positions that put pressure on the joints can increase the risk of bursitis. As well Arthritis, infection and traumatic injury can cause bursitis. Tennis elbow is as well type of Bursitis.

- Throwing baseball or softball
SYMPTOMS
Pain in the joints can be caused by many different conditions and Bursitis like any other joint pain has to be diagnosed by a professional.

- Pain when moving or putting pressure on the joint
- Swelling
- Redness around the joint
